Nissan NV200 Offers you "Free Up-fits" but buyer beware

The Nissan NV200 is officially a "hit". We have been selling these little vans like crazy over the last 12 months in part to the great fuel economy, maneuverability and our Free Customer Incentive Packages. 

But, buyer beware. Although you can purchase a Nissan NV200 Compact Cargo Van at any Nissan Dealer in Northern California, only Commercial Business Dealers like Nissan of Vacaville can supply you with the Customer Incentive Packages outlined below. These packages add value to the van, and add value to your purchase at a true Commercial Nissan Dealer. There have been many customers who have bought the NV200 without knowledge of these No-Cost upfits until it was too late. Don't be fooled - make sure you visit a Commercial Dealership to purchase your new Nissan NV200!

Here's an outline of what you can expect to get (or expect to lose if you purchase your new NV200 at a non-commercial dealer). You will receive one of the follow packages at no-cost.

Wire Partition Option

As part of the Customer Incentive Package - qualified buyers are eligible for their choice of two different cargo partitions and two different cargo shelves at no charge. They include a "Wire" Partition and "Solid" Partition as well as a 12" deep of 14" deep cargo shelf mounted on the driver side of the cargo area. Additional shelving can be purchased directly through the dealership at a pro-rated price.

Partition & Roof Rack Kit

Another option is the Wire Partition paired with a 2-Bar Roof Rack good for carrying ladders, lumber, pipes, and other long items.

Vehicle Graphics Packages

The third option in the Customer Incentive Plan is the graphics kit. Nissan has contracted with Original-Wraps to supply you 40 square feet of designed, printed and installed graphics to help promote your business! There are larger sizes of graphics available as well at pro-rated pricing!

The NV200 sales cycle is in full swing and after 9 months I can say sales have been great here in the Northern California Bay Area. Our only true competitor, the Ford Transit Connect has been doing well also as we both share a compact, manuverable, and fuel efficient compact cargo van. While from the outside they may look similar, I can assure you there are a few key differences that give the NV200 the heads up.

Molded Adrian Steel Partition

The longer cargo floor and molded Adrian Steel Bulkhead/Partitions allow the driver seat to travel backwards to the maximum stopping point, allowing longer leg drivers much more comfort. I'm 6'6" and actually feel comfortable in the NV200.

Longer Cargo Floor

I've heard from several Ford Transit Connect owners that getting even a 6-foot ladder in their van is difficult, most of the time it's impossible depending on the configuration. With the specially designed cargo partition/bulkhead in the NV200, and 6-foot ladder fits with room to spare.

City Fuel Economy

With an estimated 24 MPG city, the NV200 has a 3 mile-per-gallon edge over the Transit Connect. While the transit connect has a 2 mile-per-gallon advantage on the highway, I've heard from many customers that the NV200 Highwayt Estimated MPG is much lower than what customers are actually getting.

All in all each vehicle has its own attributes and features that some buyers find attractive. Some buyers have an issue with the Transit Connect being built in Turkey (yes, the country) and some buyers prefer having a "long-lasting Japanese product.

Not only does Nissan offer a compact cargo van with a price starting under $20,000 and 24 MPG combined fuel economy, but they give you free stuff too? What are they thinking?

The Nissan Commercial Vehicle Customer Incentive Packages have been expanded to include the Nissan NV200 Compact Cargo Van. The Customer Incentive Package or CIP for short, is a mixture of Adrian Steel racks and bins, 3M Vehicle Wrap Graphics and Customer Cash. Here's the breakdown of the CIP:

No-charge Commercial Upfit Packages:

No-charge Cargo Management Package provides customers security, organization and flexibility to store their cargo in the most convenient way to their specific usage needs. NV200 customers can choose one of the following packages:

• Package #1 One AD Series 32” Shelf and Steel Partition
• Package #2 One AD Series 32” Shelf and Wire Partition
• Package #3 One HD Series 32” Shelf and Steel Partition
• Package #4 One HD Series 32” Shelf and Wire Partition

No-charge NV200 Compact Cargo Graphics Package:

Commercial customers utilize their business vehicles for marketing purposes by installing logos, business contact information, slogans, and more on the exterior of the vehicle. By selecting the NV200 Compact Cargo Graphics package, NV200 Compact Cargo customers will receive approximately 40 sq ft. (Level 1) of customized graphics at no-charge. Upon selecting this option the customer will be contacted by the graphics supplier to begin the design process. Once design is finalized and approved by the customer, the graphics will be produced and installation will occur locally by a certified graphics installer who will coordinate installation with the selling Nissan Commercial Vehicle dealer.

Commercial Cash Incentive:

$250 cash incentive off vehicle price after sales taxes & fees
